As a Capella Alumnus you will continue to have access to your RefWorks account without any additional fees. You will be able to export, track and organize content into folders for easier access in the same manner you do now. However, the Find Full Text button and the URL in the Links field that currently retrieve full text content will no longer work, because you will no longer have access to learner library databases.
Once you graduate, you will be able to export new records from the alumni library databases, but the Find Full Text button and the URL in the links field that currently retrieve full text content will no longer work due to the manner in which alumni databases must authenticate.
One work around for the alumni database records is to copy the accession number from the RefWorks record.
Then paste that number into the search box in the appropriate database and select "Accession Number" from the drop box to the right. That process will provide access to the article in question in a relatively short amount of time, but you must know in which database the article is stored. RefWorks records include the database name for ProQuest databases, in this case ProQuest Criminal Justice, but that is not true for all platforms.
We understand this process is less convenient than the process you used as a learner, but at this time we are unable to provide a better technical solution.
